Ordering and Commission Info
Most of our pieces are made upon order. Email your email address and “ship to” address. We’ll send you a quote including shipping and projected completion date. When you authorize us to proceed, we’ll send you a SquareUp invoice, via email, for 50% of total cost. This allows you to enter your credit card information through SquareUp’s secure servers. Once your piece is done, the balance will be billed the same way. Upon receipt of final payment shipping will be initiated.
Orders are shipped via UPS or USPS unless other shipper is designated. We handle local shipping. If you live close to where we will be traveling for a show, we can deliver for a nominal fee.
We will work to make sure the piece you are getting meets your wishes, however we understand if you want to return a piece. You can return most work within 7 days for store credit less 15% restocking fee. Custom work is not returnable, see below…
Custom Work: We will base our quote on where the piece will go, space covered, etc. Once we return a quote, with completion timeline, and you accept, a 25% deposit is required. After drawings are submitted and approved another 25% deposit will be tendered before fabrication. We will have multiple discussions about your wishes for the piece and will put these discussions into our proposal.
When drawings are submitted for approval, we encourage discussion either by email or phone. Many times, more information can be shared by a phone call than email, but we work both ways. We are happy to revise drawings based on your response.
Stained Glass: We will send you glass samples to peruse and confirm. We take these samples and make the panels using colors selected. You are welcome to attend our “light palette” where we cut out the shapes and attach them to a clear piece of glass to see how everything is going together. We can make changes at this point before fabrication.
Gates, Sculpture, and Fencing: We’ll take a look at photos of your space and discuss the effect you wish for with our gate, fencing, or sculpture. After our discussion we will submit a proposal incorporating our discussion. If enamel is to be used, we’ll send color samples to you so you can choose the colors for your piece.
Visiting the Studio: We are always here to answer questions. We are a working studio, email is checked every day and will be answered as soon as possible. If you are in our area, you are most welcome to stop in and visit. Contact us to to set up a visit. We’ll send you directions to our place. GPS kind of works, but it is best to follow our written directions.
